English acquittal - hope for Siddique Case..

The acquittal of five young men in England of terrorism charges resulting from the viewing of jihadi websites must surely give hope to Scottish youngster Mohammed Atif Siddique.  The Alva man was sentenced to 8 years at the High court in Glasgow for similar "offences".

Mr Siddique's lawyer Aamer Anwar is currently facing charges of contempt of court following remarks he made on the conviction of his client.  In short, Mohammed Atif Siddique was jailed for doing what you are doing gentle reader...surfing the Internet and looking for answers to the questions of the day...

If Mr Siddique is not released on appeal, Scottish Justice will indeed be seen to be contemptible...put me in the same dock as Aamer Anwar..!!
